Mac OS X software updates for Oct. 4

Here are the latest updates for Mac OS X apps:

AvisNocturna Software (www.avisnocturna.com) has announces Logoist 1.1, a major update to its advanced design application for Mac OS X. The new version is the first major update to Logoist and “brings tons of new features and improvements,” according to the folks at AvisNocturna.

ii2P (www.ii2p.com) — which specializes in IT support and service desk optimization and secure password management solutions — has released a new version of MyLOK+, the company’s USB-enabled secure password management and mobile data management solution. The new version “incorporates a myriad of digital identity protection measure,” according to ii2P.

Zevrix Solutions (www.zevrix.com) has released BatchOutput XLS 2.1.2, a compatibility update to its output automation solution for Microsoft Excel on Mac OS X. The new version introduces compatibility with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.

Adobe has rolled out Lightroom 4.2 and Camera Raw 7.2 final releases on Adobe.com. The updates: add Album Support within the Revel Publish Service; bring additional raw file support for 21 new cameras including the Canon EOS 650D/Rebel T4i, Fujifilm X-E1 and Sony DSC-RX100; provide tethered capture support for 11 new cameras; and preliminary support for the Nikon D600 camera.

Akvis has revved Akvis ArtSuite to version 9.0. ArtSuite is a collection of versatile effects for decorating photos.Version 9.0 adds the new Halftone effect, new ready-to-use presets, and Mountain Lion compatibility.
