Tokkao has released Effective Alarm 1.0 for iOS. It’s a free app for those having trouble waking up.

iCorpApps has introduced Money Management 1.0 for the iPhone. The $4.99 app focuses on preserving and protecting the investor’s trading capital against possible excessive losses.

25dev has launched Acro-Dict 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app translates abbreviations, codes and acronyms, or AAC, that users encounter in their daily lives.

Appropos Solutions has unveiled Cycle Aid 1.0 for iOS. Designed with men in mind, the $0.99 app helps to track the menstrual cycles of a user’s significant other and “empowers the user with knowledge for a greater understanding of the physical and emotional challenges experienced by women.”

Chocolate Lab Apps has debuted Cat Horoscope Booth 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app “will discover your pet’s secret skills and uncover their destiny using an built-in real-time mobile cat scanner.” The app takes a photo of your cat’s face, analyses the contours and then displays your cat’s horoscope.

One Global Apps has premiered Bottomless Pit for iOS. In the free game, players will manage their own special place in the afterlife.

Bespoke Apps has conjured up Copy Magic for iOS. The $1.99 app lets you share text and contacts between nearby iOS devices without needing 3G, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections.

Fabio Bassan has unleashed Baby Animal Sounds for iOS. The $0.99 app allows children to explore the animal kingdom with 36 funny drawings and realistic sounds.

Paragon Software Group has published TransLegal’s Law Dictionary app for iOS. It’s a $24.99 dictionary of law designed specifically to help lawyers and law students around the world to understand and use legal terminology in English.

Eggroll Games has created Puzzle Farm Imagination Adventure! for iOS. Inspired by classic puzzle toys, the children’s app offers dynamic puzzles that reveal new challenges with every scene. Puzzle Farm Imagination Adventure is free with additional levels available for $0.99.

123 Number Fun has given us The Great Snail Race, an iBook by children’s author Jane Hague, It’s an interactive story about a week at Number Town School with Little Tilly Two and focuses on counting and sequence. Stories from Number Town is a 10- part series of children’s stories that bring numbers and counting to life. It’s free through Sept. 9; after this the price is $2.99.
