Get Busy Living has announced Gratitude 365 for iOS. It’s an US$0.99 “gratitude journal app” that focuses on highlighting what users are thankful for in their life.

Viki & Joe Software has released InstaNotice for the iPhone and iPod touch.The $0.99 app offers a way to send a “thank you” note to followers on social networks.

Clarion Corp. of America (CCA) has introduced FB4car and Tweet4car, free apps designed for in-vehicle use via the $269.99 Next GATE that was recently made available to the public. Next GATE presents a way to stay connected in your vehicle.  The smartphone controller for the iPhone utilizes optimized apps designed to let you safely navigate social media channels Facebook® and Twitter while in a vehicle.  

DCI Mobile Studios has unveiled Book Cricket 2012 for iOS. The free app “presents users with an all together different kind of cricketing experience, taking them back to the days when they used to score runs by flipping through the pages of a book.”

Soundview Executive Book Summaries, which specializes in business book summaries, has debuted their free subscriber app for accessing content on the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices. This app will provide subscribers with access to their online library in real-time, and the ability to download content directly to their iOS and Android devices for reading and listening to offline. 

Pi’ikea St. has unleashed Mask Jumble Animals 1.0 for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod . The $0.99 augmented reality game uses facial recognition and allow kids to play the game while viewing themselves in a real time video mirror. Players simply hold the device steady and watch as their animal masks appear on their faces. When players achieve a full mask of one animal, they can catch strawberries to earn additional animal masks.

jRuston Apps has premiered My Currency Converter 1.0 for iOS. The free travel app supports over 150 different currencies from all around the world, ranging from the US dollar to the Colombian oPeso. You can find out how much your currency is worth even if you aren’t connected to the Internet.

Zoomable Media and master history teacher Brian Hurd have collaborated on “The Shoah,” a $9.99 multitouch textbook available on Apple’s iBookstore for immediate preview, purchase, and download. It features descriptions of 101 essential events, people, places, and concepts of the Holocaust, and is illustrated with high resolution pictures and maps, each including audio captions of facts and little-known details of this period in history.

Twinflix 2 Free is a new multiplayer Tetris game application developed for iOS platform. In the free game, the tetromino screens of two players appear adjacent to each other, and both players can see their own and competitors’ screen at the same time. Twinflix 2 Free uses internet connectivity to connect two players in a single game, and it requires no special settings to setup a network.

Let’s Go Publications has rolled out a line of mobile apps for the iPhone, iPod touch, and Android. Available for 25 cities, each of the Let’s Go Explore apps features five short walking tours. Each tour contains reviews of listings from student researchers at Let’s Go. Complete with maps, GPS tracking, and offline walking directions, each free app covers a diverse range of places, ranging from restaurants to cultural attractions to nightlife.

Concrete Software has developed Wordsplosion 1.0 for iOS. In the free word game players must correctly guess a five-letter word before the timer runs out. The first letter of the word is provided and players are allowed five incorrect guesses, but time is of the essence.

Totmob has given us Tunes4Fun — Elves for iOS. It’s a version of Simon Says, where the player’s memory will be tested. Tunes4Fun — Elves is available in a free, ad-supported version and a paid, no-apps version.

HealthTeacher has served up Awesome Upstander! for iOS. It’s a $0.99 game that teaches kids how to stand up to bullies in a safe and positive way.
