Apple plans to open its own retail stores in Russia, which should reduce the time between a new product’s announcement and its local availability, according to “The Moscow News.”

Apple has registered a company dubbed “Apple Rus” and assigned Vitaly Morozko, the corporation’s local legal advisor, as its director general, the article adds. Quoting an unnamed “manager of an Apple distributor,” the company could start direct sales in Russia in 2013, says “The Moscow News.” For more info go to http://macte.ch/Of2b5 .
