Apple has released Xcode 4.4.1, an update to its set of powerful developer tools for Mac OS X.
Apple says it’s been repackaged, and is now distributed as a stand-alone application. This replaces the Install Xcode package, and adds support for delta updates. Xcode includes a new “Downloads” preference pane to install optional components such as command line tools, and previous iOS Simulators.
Xcode 4.4.1 is a 1.46GB download. It’s free at the Mac App Store.
