Tharle Games has announced Gold Combat HD 1.0. In the free shooting game for the iPhone and iPad you tap on bandits who are coming from random directions to shoot them. Every time you kill an enemy, a gold coin will be added to game account.

Realore has released Roads of Rome 2 for the iPad and iPhone. In the US$1.99 game, players experience a story set in ancient Rome, with a blend of building simulation, casual strategy and time management gameplay. Acting as the Roman general Victorius, the player’s mission  is to pave roads into unknown lands and find the magic potion that will save Caesar’s life.

Games Apptually has introduced Fionn Folktales 1.0 for iOS. In the $0.99 game, you become the legendary hero Fionn McCool as he races across the Irish Sea. Based on the mythological story of the origin of the Giant’s Causeway, you will leap and avoid obstacles in your way and see if you can leap to the top score.

DesignBos has unveiled InfiniteRUN for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The free app charges gamers with navigating a royal extraterrestrial away from earthbound beasts for as long as they can. Players keep running as long as they can without tripping up over obstacles and falling down.

CJ Educations has debuted Broadway Barks for the iPad. In the $2.99 children’s interactive e-book from Bernadette Peters, readers follow the adventures of a lost puppy named Douglas as he searches for his home and discovers his true talent and love for singing.

iStoryTime has published the Madagascar 3 Movie Storybook Deluxe interactive app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Packed with fans’ favorite Zoosters, the $4.99 app offers a to check out the action along with the movie.

Totmob, a division of Kinetics, has premiered Pinzator for iOS. In the game — available in both free and paid, no-ad versions — the player starts with a jumble of paper body parts on a pinboard. By taking pins out and using gravity the user can swing the parts around to connect them. When all the parts are in place the paper animal morphs into a furry version live version to indicate that the puzzle has been completed. There are eight different animals with three puzzles each.

Ziggy & Friends, Inc. has teamed up with the Foundation for Global Skin Health Strategies for Ziggy’s Best Birthday, an $0.99, interactive video starring the comic strip character icon, Ziggy, is a children’s story with some educational aspects and an underlying message about skin protection and the long-term health effects that will result from sun damage. 

Niles Technology Group has partnered with MediRounds for MediRounds. It’s a $29.99 rounding system that uses the iPad to make rounding and patient tracking a more intuitive, fluid process. MediRounds also incorporates medication and equipment tracking and trending of patient data.

Guns Of War is a new, free castle defense game for the iPhone and iPad. The free app features hundreds of levels of action-packed shooting and bombing tanks, artillery, jeeps and soldiers. Players simply touch the screen to point a big gun and shoot and click and drop orders to carry out airstrikes and gas attacks. To win the game, players must defend the city and save the day.

Windoze Solitaire is a new, free collection of Solitaire games.
