iZotope has released the Food Sound Library, the latest in their collection of sounds and samples. Designed for exclusive use with Iris, iZotope’s visual instrument, the Food Sound Library is available at no charge to customers who already own or who purchase Iris through July 31.

Not only is Food suited for movie and video game sound design, it contains over 100 patches designed to spark inventive musical exploration, much like the Glass and Wood sound libraries that came before it, according to the folks at iZotope. It’s sourced from a range of samples.

The Food Sound Library is now available at http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/iris/soundlibraries.asp . As mentioned, for a limited time it’s free for everyone who already owns Iris or Iris+2. The library aso comes free with any new purchase of Iris or Iris+2 (US$49) through July 31.
