Mac OS X software updates for July 19

Here are the latest updates for Mac OS X apps:

Mozilla Firefox has been revved to version 14.0.1. The upgrade of the web browser sports new security features and vulnerability patches.

Zevrix Solutions (http://zevrix.com) has released LinkOptimizer 4.7.2, an update of its workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. The new version is prepared for distribution on Adobe Exchange.

Handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php), a DVD “ripping” app for Mac OS X, has been updated to version 0.9.8. It’s a maintenance release with some bug fixes.

Houdah Software (http://www.houdah.com/) has updated HoudahSpot, their Spotlight front end for Mac OS X, to version 3.5.5. The upgrade is now signed with a Developer ID certificate for Gatekeeper compatibility.

Perceptive Automation has rolled out Indigo 5.1.4 (http://www.perceptiveautomation.com/indigo/index.html), an update to its home control and automation server for Mac OS X. The upgrade adds support for new INSTEON modules.
