Brother International Corp. has launched its Brother QL-700 series of label printers, designed for printing pre-sized labels for file folders, mailing and shipping labels, as well as longer labels and banners.

The printers offer: print speeds up to 93 labels per minute; postage printing capabilities; and pre-designed label templates. The Brother QL-710W and Brother QL-720NW also offer wireless networking capabilities.

The Brother QL-700 series even allows consumers to print online postage from their desktops (with a subscription to pbSmartPostage by Pitney Bowes).

‘The Brother QL-700 is perfect for any business professional’s desktop,” says Linda Sanford, director of Marketing for Brother Electronic Stationery Products. “The Brother QL-710W is a great solution for customers wanting a wireless configuration, and the Brother QL-720NW is available for customers needing a network model for a busy workgroup.”

In addition to the new wireless networking printing features, a free downloadable label printing app is available for Apple and Android mobile devices. The app allows printing of custom labels and provides access to printing pre-designed label templates directly from mobile devices.  Also included, is the ability to print address labels from a contact list.

The US$139.99 QL-710W (pictured) and $169.99 QL-720NW will be available later this month. For more info go to http://www.Brother.com .
