TaskBurn offers interactive task management for OS X

Knert Consulting has introduced TaskBurn 1.0 for Mac OS X, a task management and productivity app that features graphics and sound to allow users to list and virtually incinerate completed task items. It costs US$4.99 and is available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Productivity category.

With TaskBurn, users create individual tasks or groups of tasks that place tasks in a list, and view, manage, or destroy them with fire when the task is completed. It provides a graphical”mini-celebration” of completed tasks.

After launching TaskBurn, users create a Task Group via the New Group button on the bottom left of the app screen. The entered group name is engraved onto a wooden post sign above a small swirl of flames. Users then add a new task or set of tasks via the New Task button at the bottom right of the app window.

Tasks are also engraved on wooden signposts above the Task Burn swirling flames. After a task or task group is completed, users click the flame icon on the task or group signpost and the task is destroyed in a fiery ball of flames.
