Apple’s bid to ban US sales of Galaxy S III put on hold


Apple’s effort to ban the sale of the Samsung Galaxy S III in the U.S. has been put on hold. U.S. District Court judge Lucy Koh has decided that Apple can’t argue its case for a ban on the flagship handset at a previously scheduled June 21 hearing, reports “CNET.”

Instead, Apple must file a motion for the ban that includes a request for a hearing date held sometime after June 21. Koh says the issue is that there are already quite a few issues to consider at the June 21 hearing. Read more at .

Apple and Samsung have filed more than 30 lawsuits against each other across four continents. For example, Apple alleges that Samsung copied the slide-to-unlock technology of its iPhone and iPad devices.
