Mac OS X software updates for June 1

Here are the latest incremental updates for Mac OS X apps.

ExactCODE has updated ExactScan Pro (http://exactscan.com/) to version 2.20 with support for several Canon DR ImageFORUMA DR-series document scanners. ExactScan is software for professional Mac document scanning.

Microspot (http://www.microspot.com) has released MacDraft Professional version 6.0.5, an update for its 2D drafting, design and illustration software for Mac OS X. Included in this upgrade is improved functionality for reading DWG files and support for AutoCAD AC1024.

ThinkTime Creations has announced Instant 1.1 (http://instantmacapp.com/), a new version of the Polaroid making app for Mac OS X. This feature update includes a pair of new Polaroid filters, options to share on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Picasa Web Album, options to process multiple images at the same time, and more.

Quark (http://www.quark.com) has announced today the availability of a new, free update to QuarkXPress 9 that allows designers to export digital content directly to the Amazon Kindle format.

Nuance Communications says its Dragon Express App, an introductory voice recognition app for Mac OS X Lion, has debuted in seven additional countries, supporting three additional languages. Dragon Express 1.1 now supports the French language in Canada, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, the German language in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and the Italian language in Italy. Dragon Express is available exclusively in the Mac App Store.
 
Acclivity (http://ca.accountedge.com/) has rolled out the Canadian version of AccountEdge Pro 2012 for Mac and Windows. The latest version of their small business accounting software features a redesigned command centre, mileage tracking, and the ability to create and maintain retainers.
