NewsLook, a 24-hour global streaming video news service, has announced a self-titled iPad app. The free application offers any “newshound” the opportunity to tap a vast, curated library of news video from over 50 sources including the Associated Press, Bloomberg and Reuters, to create their own custom channels for viewing on the Apple tablet.

Playtinum has released Valentin — The Valiant Viking. It’s an US$1.99, point-and-click puzzle adventure.

Gameloft, has launched Men in Black 3 for iOS. It’s a free game of the based on the movie that opens Friday.

Nuclear Nova Software has introduced Nova Golf 1.0, a followup to its GL Golf for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Discounted for the first week to $1.99, Nova Golf features realistic ball physics and stunning 3D graphics with unique courses and customizable characters.

The Grabarchuk Family has unveiled Fish Crackers 1.0 for iOS. The $2.99 puzzle game features 100 original puzzles with real 2D physics. Players can manipulate pieces just like real physical objects.

AngryOrange Studios has debuted Glow Worm Lite for iOS. It’s free sim/arcade game that challenges the player to capture and skillfully transport bacteria scattered inside a living cell. The goal is to save as many bacteria as possible using the Glow Worm, a neutrophil-like body, which captures each bacterium using a single filament. Once attached, the filaments slowly retract, while the player navigates the Glow Worm back to the safety of its spawning point with bacteria in tow.

Yeinart has premiered EQ Player 1.0, for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It’s a free equalizer app that “turns your earphones into high quality headphone.”

Temporal Games has cooked up Let’s Eat Sweets for iOS. The $0.99 game arcade game features a little girl who is after all kinds of candy. The player uses tilt and rotate controls to collect as much of it as possible within the time limit.

Brite Kids has published Vixes, an interactive book for children ages 2-7. It tells the story of two little vixes, funny creatures from the Snorarium world, Villie and Allie, who are willing to become Dream Deliverers with the help of little players. The iPhone/iPod touch version costs $0.99; the iPad version is $1.99.

Small Planet Digital have partnered with John Solimine and Andy Hullinger to create Dragon Brush, an interactive storybook for iPhone and iPad based on a Chinese folktale. With narration by Matt Berninger and music by Aaron and Bryce Dessner, the $2.99 app follows the adventures of Bing-Wen, a young boy who loves to paint.

Adiant’s new CrowdCloud is a free iPhone/Android app that blends the social web with communities, giving users instant access to real-time local information. The goal of the CrowdCloud app is to be the real-time information platform for local venues such as restaurants, merchants, mass transit systems and other key community focal points, according to the folks at Adiant.
