Mac OS X software updates for May 21

Here are the latest incremental updates for Mac OS X apps.

STA Software (http://STA-Software.com) has released version 1.2 of its SiteSaver productivity code. SiteSaver is an application that collects, organizes, saves and retrieves information from the Web and integrates it with local files and folders. Version 1.2 is a maintenance update.

SecureMac has announced MacScan 2.9.3 (http://macscan.securemac.com/), the latest version of its aanti-spyware and security software, which features tracking cookie detection and cleaning for Google’s Chrome browser. The latest version adds additional browser support for the SeaMonkey web browser, scheduler bug fixes, interface changes and the latest definitions to protect against malware affecting Mac OS X.

Red Sweater Software (http://www.red-sweater.com) has updated MarsEdit, the weblog publishing software from NewsGator Technologies, to version 3.5.2. It offers bug fixes and a live-updated word count feature.

Cleverflies (http://www.cleverfiles.com/) has revved Disk Drill, a free Mac data recovery tool, to version 1.8.190. New file signatures has been added to the Deep Scan database.

MenuWeather (http://menuweather.com/), a menu bar weather client, has been upgraded to version 4.2. It adds the option to disable the loading indicator and an option to disable the alerts icon.
