“Cult of Mac” (http://macte.ch/7wd3q) claims to have a source who’s seen a prototype of the rumored Apple-branded HDTV (the “iTV”). Rumors have the release date of the device ranging from the third quarter of this year to 2014.
“Cult of Mac,” quoting its unnamed source, says the Apple HDTV looks like Apple’s current lineup of LED-backlit Cinema Displays, but is “much bigger.” It has a built-in iSight camera for making free FaceTime video conference call, and comes with Siri, the iPhone 4S’s voice-activated virtual assistant.
