Mac OS X software updates for April 5

Here are the latest incremental updates for Mac OS X apps.

Nokkeusi Application Factory (http://www.nokkeusi.com/en/) has announced Chirashi 1.30, an update to the desktop publishing app for Mac OS X. The upgrade introduces repeating frames with variable content, gradient colors, improved trimmed image quality and more.

St. Clair Software has released App Tamer 1.2.1 (http://www.stclairsoft.com/AppTamer/), an update to their Mac utility that automatically pauses applications to improve battery life and reduce CPU usage. The upgrade addresses two issues that have come to light since the recent release of version 1.2.

Video-Recorder.net has rolled out Easy Video Recorder for Mac 1.5, an update of the screen-to-video capture application that records actions on the screen as a movie. Any application that runs on your Mac can be recorded, both video and audio. from games to web pages.

Mireth Technology has served up version 4.7.4 of NetShred X (http://www.mireth.com/pub/nxme.html), its Internet “eraser” that erases internet cache, history and mail. The upgrade adds support for Firefox 11, Camino 2.1 and Chrome 17.

Mixed In Key (http://Mixedinkey.com) has given us Mashup 1.5 (Mac and Windows), a free update to its mashup-creation software application. The enhanced features of the new version make it easier than ever to construct beat-matched and harmonically compatible mashups from two or more song files. Mashup 1.5 works in conjunction with the company’s harmonic-mixing application, Mixed In Key 5, to create a complete mashup-creation toolkit for DJs, producers, remixers, and podcasters.
