Propellerhead has announced Figure for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The US$0.99 lets you create original music.

A new video tutorial app, SCOtutor for iPhoto on iOS, has been released. Covering all aspects of the new iPhoto iOS application, SCOtutor for iPhoto on iOS — available for $0.99 for a limited time — is designed to help new iPhoto users get up to speed.

Nneres Auge has introduced Candy Town Seasons. In the $0.99 game, players must help a friendly creature fill up his Easter basket.

Vlad Polyanskiy has launched iShutdown HD for the iPad. It’s a $0.99 utility to wake-on-LAN, shut down, sleep, hibernate or restart your Mac or PC remotely.

Long Weekend has premiered Rikai Browser Chinese 1.0 for iOS. It’s a $3.99 Chinese-to-English dictionary browser.

FigtreeLabs has debuted Timegg 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The $0.99 lets you pre-set up to eight alarms at a time.

Fun To Learn Apps has presented Little Star Piano Lite 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. The free app offers kids a way to start learning piano.

An illustrated, interactive book for the iPad by Colibri Games has been published. “How Tom Recovered Time HD” is based on the ” The Tiny Bang Story” story book. The free app includes over 50 illustrated pages with a variety of mini-games.

The Ball Blaster trilogy of games is now available for iOS for free. Starting with the original Ball Blaster game, the speed and game play is cranked up with weapons, power-ups and enemies to deal with through over 100 levels — with over 300 in the complete trilogy.

Spiderweb Software has created Avernum: Escape From the Pit HD for the iPad. The $9.99 game is an epic, indie fantasy role-playing saga that tells a story of imprisonment, rebellion, and the struggle for freedom against overwhelming odds.

Cut Out Games has developed Ink Egg Adventure 1.0, its new iOS game featuring Winston, an adventure-seeking rabbit who travels through a colorful world searching for Easter eggs. In Ink Egg Adventure (free), players guide Winston to collect all the eggs in the level before time runs out. Using Winston’s magical paintbrush, players draw lines of ink for him to bounce off. These lines guide Winston toward the Easter eggs and away from hazards.

Maksym Tsanko has given us Rope Mania 1.0 for iOS. It’s a $1.99, physics-based game where players catch falling eggs in ropes. Newly laid eggs fall one at a time from a high tree limb in the jungle. Players can string ropes between two points to catch them before they fall into the water. However, eggs touching each other will not hatch, so players may need to make vertical stretches of rope, too.

Donoho Design Group has served up Retweever Visualization App 1.0 for iPad. It’s a free social networking app that sorts through a Twitter user’s Tweets and displays them as organized icons and photos.

Ray Giarratana has offered up Jazz.1.0 for iOS. It’s a $0.99, customizable photo editing app that gives users an unlimited number of photo styles at the touch of a button, while also allowing complete control of every feature so users can refine the look of their photos manually if they so choose.

Spiderweb Software has unleashed Avernum: Escape from the Pit for iOS. The $9.99 game is the remastering of the award-winning Exile series, which tells the story of the struggle for survival in the underground prison known as Avernum. As a new prisoner of the pit, your struggle to survive will be aided by those that have come before you, who have built an empire of their own and struggle to maintain it against the onslaught of many hostile creatures that live in the underworld.

App of Approval has announced Compare a Twist 1.0 for the iPad. It’s a $2.99 app lesson platform that allows learners to leverage learning through the personalized creation of compare and contrast activities.

North has released Pholium for the iPad. The $9.99 app lets you create customizable digital photo books that can be given to others.

 A new app for iPad and iPhone combines science and technology to help save critically endangered North Atlantic right whales by reducing threats of collisions with large ships along the East Coast of North America. The free Whale Alert App is the result of a multi-organization effort that brings together government, academia, private sector industries and IFAW (the International Fund for Animal Welfare, http://www.ifaw.org).

In anticipation of the 51st annual Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach this Easter, MEA Mobile and Rip Curl have teamed up for a limited edition free version of iSupr8. The app, available for the iPhone and iPad allows users to shoot a video, develop it with a special vintage treatment and share it with their social media networks such as Twitter, Facebook or via iSupr8.com.
