Newly formed startup company Outlaaw has recently launched its first product on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter.com. “The Stand” is a sound-enhancing iPhone dock designed from a solid block of cylindrical aluminum.
It amplifies sound naturally without the need for a powered speaker via its dish-shaped bottom increasing the volume while listening to music and using the speakerphone, according to Outlaaw co-founder Jim McDonough. The Stand works as an iPhone stand and/or charging dock.
Its ergonomically designed solid mass and tacky feet combined with its round shape allow for convenient single-handed use, according to McDonough. It works with most cases.
