ScottiStudios has announced Save the Monste, a free version of their iOS app. In the game, you run the gauntlet and survive in a world ruled by evil robots.

Kode80 has released 1-bit Ninja Lite, a free version of its platform app. In the game, players can try their hand at five levels of 2D/3D run and jump action for free.

JustKidsApps has introduced Motlies Easter Island Adventure 1.0 for iOS. IN the US$1.99 Motlies’ story, you join the boy Albert and the hedgehog Herold on their journey to the Easter Island, where they meet Raul the rabbit, who may or may not be the Easter Bunny.

MyLittleUni has launched Drag & Tag (Nouns at Home) 1.0 for the iPad. The free app mixes color, music, animations, lovable characters and animals for learning nouns.

Fiendsoft has unveiled Cipherz 1.0 for iOS. The free app offers a new approach to the Cryptogram genre of word games. Users choose from a selection of categories and are presented with six related items that have been randomly ciphered. The user is then expected to determine the original text.

Fjapps has premiered Hexa Bits 1.0, a freeconversion utility for iOS devices. Developed specifically for software, hardware engineers as well as for engineering students, Hexa Bits’ goal is to make hexadecimal numbers manipulation easier. Users can obtain the decimal, binary and hexadecimal representation of a subset of bits within an arbitrary number.

TPK Studio has debuted Easter Fun For Kids 1.0.1, an Easter themed kids activity pack that brings education, Easter, and fun games together. Children from pre-K to third grade will find six Easter educational games and activities designed for entertaining and learning.

Mix1009 has presented Equalizer Pro 1.0 for iOS. The $2.99 music app offers equalization with an unlimited number of bands. It features support for both lossy MP3 files and lossless FLAC/OGG formats; Equalizer Pro also includes an integrated LED-style spectrum analyzer, 32-bit floating point processing, 12 EQ presets, and the ability to create unlimited points on save-able EQ curves.

Gamelarious has rolled out TanksCombat for iOS. It’s a $0.99 tank combat sim game where the player controls a single tank and must destroy a total of four or five enemy tanks on each of 60 levels.

Ziff Davis says “PC Magazine” will be available today in the Apple App Store and Newsstand. Every month, it will contain more than 40 articles, reviews and features about the latest technology; interactive elements such as 360-degree views of products; and. The PC Magazine app for the iPad will be free to download and will include a free sample issue. The April issue is available for $3.99 and consumers can also choose two subscription options: monthly at $1.99 or annually at $19.99.
