Another day, another lawsuit. Core Wireless Licensing SARL, a Luxembourg-based company, has filed a patent-infringement lawsuit against Apple, claiming that the company is violating wireless-related technologies in its 2G, 3G and 4G iPhone as well as iPad models, reports “HardMac” (http://www.hardmac.com).

The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages from Apple and future royalty payments for every device made that utilizes the infringed patent. Interestingly, as noted by “ubergizmo” (http://macte.ch/iI0kx), Core Wireless is in charge of managing a portfolio of 2,000 patents, “most of them are reportedly owned by Nokia, and Microsoft supposedly has a financial interest in the group as a portion of past, current and future legal settlements are expected to make its way into Microsoft’s bank account, as well.”
