FileMaker, Inc (http://www.filemaker.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple, has announced schedule highlights for the FileMaker Developer Conference 2012 (http://www.filemaker.com/developers/devcon/), the largest annual gathering of worldwide FileMaker independent and corporate database developers, trainers and users. It will be held July 16-19 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida.

Attendees will see demonstrations by FileMaker staff and exhibitors and learn about creating custom FileMaker apps for the iPad and iPhone, building better databases and extending solutions to the web. In addition to increasing their technical expertise, developers can mingle and network with over 1,100 FileMaker enthusiasts from more than 35 countries during the four-day event.

Due to escalating demand for solutions that run on FileMaker Go, the business database app for iPad and iPhone, this year’s conference will offer attendees an expanded selection of FileMaker Go related sessions. The FileMaker Training Series Track, designed to help developers hone their skills as well as prepare for the FileMaker Certification exam, will be interspersed throughout the program with 13 sessions. The conference will also feature special meetings and events designed for developers building successful businesses in specific markets, including K-12 education and Latin America.

This year, over 30 exhibitors will showcase their products and services within the FileMaker Developer Conference Exhibitor Showcase. Companies exhibiting at the showcase include: .com Solutions, Inc., 24U Software, 360Works, Accelerated Payment Technologies, Actual Technologies, Beezwax Datatools Inc., CCQ-FM, Inc., DB Services, Excelisys, Goya Pty. Ltd., Kove, NELiX TransaX LLC, NRG Shipping Software, Productive Computing, Inc., Seedcode, Skeleton Key, Soliant Consulting, Inc., Villtech Corp, Virtual Training Company, Inc., Worldcloud, Inc., and WorldSync, Inc.

Conference attendees can save up to US$300 off the full conference registration price, paying $1,295, by taking advantage of the “early bird” discount, available through May 22. Paid attendees will also receive a free copy of FileMaker Pro Advanced — a $499 value. Also available is the Gold Registration package for $1,895, which, in addition to the standard conference sessions, includes pre-conference sessions and the FileMaker Training Series courses.
