At this week’s Macworld/iWorld Expo, Qmedix (http://www.Qmadix.com) premiered two new auxiliary battery pack options to its boostpac brand: the boostpac eclipse and boostpac quick shot. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
The boostpac eclipse and boostpac quick shot are universal, rechargeable auxiliary battery packs that support iPod, iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Both auxiliary packs feature an LED battery indicator light that measures the remaining battery life, and Smart Technology that enables automatic shutoff to avoid overcharging.
Users can recharge the battery packs from any computer or laptop with the included USB 2.0-to-micro USB charging cable. The boostpac eclipse transforms into a docking station for iPhone and iPod charging.
