Target has confirmed that it plans to open Apple stores-within-a-store at 25 of its establishments, reports “Reuters” (http://macte.ch/9RtqJ). Apparently, the concept will be similar to the set-up at over 600 Best Buys in the US.

Target’s goal is to expand its reach into smaller metro areas. The company plans to begin operating Apple-branded areas within 25 larger stores in locations that can’t support a standalone Apple Store.

What’s more, Target has unveiled its “the Shops at Target” concept in New York. Other in-store boutique will include The Webster and The Candy Store, which offer trendy fashions and treats, according to “Reuters.”
