Adobe updates Lightroom, Camera Raw

Adobe has announced the availability of Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 final releases on Adobe.com. Originally posted as release candidates on Adobe Labs, the final updates provide raw file format support for nine new cameras including Canon PowerShot S100, Nikon 1 V1 and Sony NEX-7, and add over 30 lens profiles to help photographers automatically correct unwanted distortion and chromatic aberration.
 
In addition, Lightroom 3.6 and Camera Raw 6.6 final updates correct issues reported from the latest releases. Lightroom a digital photography workflow solution for “serious” amateur and professional photographers. It lets you import, manage, enhance and showcase all your images within one application. The Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in provides access to raw image formats produced by many digital camera.
 
The Lightroom 3.6 update is available as a free download for Lightroom 3 customers, and the Photoshop Camera Raw 6.6 plug-in is available as a free download for Photoshop CS5 customers.
