PAD Software has introduced Scrawl 1.0, a note-taking app for Mac OS X 10.6 and higher. It costs US$0.99 and is available in the Mac App Store in the Productivity category.

Scrawl sits right in the menu bar. It has a QuickLook-like window based off of Snow Leopard, auto save, and it is customizable. With the ability to handle an unlimited amount of notes, Scrawl can search not only the title of each note, but also the note’s content, according to Paul Dunahoo, the manager of PAD Software and primary developer of Scrawl,

You can right-click on the menubar icon to view all the app’s settings. You can also change the size and texture of the Scrawl window in the Preferences.
