Panorama Concepts has announced Secret Media Folder for the iOS platform. The US$0.99 app is designed to protect your “precious moments” from unauthorized viewing. With Secret Media Folder, you can keep your private data away from others’ eyes as they’re all password protected.

Dirk Bost has released Scrap It 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app brings the art of scrapbooking to your fingertips. Users can piece together a scrap creation from scratch, choosing from up to 1,300 different pieces of art, including backgrounds, tiles, ribbons, and embellishments.

Gotow.net has introduced HexDefense 1.0 for the iPhone and iPad. With OpenGL-based graphics and 3D stereo sound, the free app — though there are maps you can obtain via in-app purchases — lets you navigate 35 levels, building and upgrading towers to create mazes that leave enemy creeps marching to their death.

Rocket Splash Games has launched Meme Maker 1.0, their newest entertainment app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Memes — a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices– are the new rage on the web, and you can now join the fun and make your own memes. Meme Maker ($0.99) allows anyone to create their own memes directly from their iOS device.

Plopp has debuted on the iPad. The $1.99 game is all about big chain reactions and shockwaves and offers a puzzle experience.

Hung Tran has rolled out Master Key for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. A mobile content vault, the $4.99 app gives users the power to secure all of their sensitive information — everything from bank account numbers to passwords and ATM PINs.

James Shaw has presented App Restaurant Finder! 1.0 for the iPad. The $0.99 app helps you find restaurants around your current GPS Location. The restaurants are displayed on a map, along with the phone number and address.

Wombi has created Color Monster — Learn the colors for the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone. The $0.99 app teaches children the names of common colors using a hungry but friendly monster. The Color Monster asks the user for different colored fruits, and children feed the monster by dragging the correct fruit to the monster’s mouth. If offered the right fruit, the monster eats it happily and asks for more.

In collaboration with independent children’s book author and illustrator Frankie Santelli, KwiqApps has published Nimbus Littling & the Flu from Nebtune 2 HD, an children’s picture book on iOS devices. The $1.99 picture book features Nimbus Littling and depicts her adventures and friendships.

Blue Wind has created White Christmas, a free augmented reality app for the iPhone. It modifies the iPhone’s camera to display falling snow and various images in your pictures. You can adjust the size or rotation of the frame.

Qwizful 1.0 is a new, free app that offers prep tests for young children, pre-K through second grade, to help children gain confidence toward formal admission tests. Qwizful introduces the questions in the form of playful quizzes.
