Survey: 26% of potential Fire buyers delay buying an iPad


RBC analyst Mike Abramsky says in a note to clients — as reported by “Fortune” — that some folks possibly interested in purchasing a Amazon Kindle Fire tablet have delayed purchasing an iPad.

Using data from a ChangeWave ( survey of 2,600 early adopter types, Abramsky says that 5% of those surveyed said they had pre-ordered or were very likely to buy Amazon’s) new Kindle Fire, exceeding the 4% who said they were very likely to buy the original iPad in 2010. And 26% of those 5% said they would delay or put on hold the purchase of a new Apple tablet.
