Some Ohio social workers get iPads

“Operation iPad” was approved by the Hamilton County (Ohio) Commissioners lsat week. This will allow Jobs and Family Services to purchase 187 iPads for its social workers reports “WCPO” (http://macte.ch/OgYP1).

They hope the US$330,000 purchase will make their workers more efficient and assist them in better helping kids, the article adds. This will be a major upgrade from their current desktops that kept Hamilton County Job and Family Service workers

“In an agency hit with severe budget cuts and an upgrade in technology will help them save time along with providing real-time information updates with the goal of helping to protecting at-risk children,” Hamilton County Commission President Greg Hartmann told “WCPO.”
