‘MUG Event Calendar’: remembering Steve Jobs, iCloud, more

MUGCenterlogo.jpg

This is the busiest week of the month on “The MUG Event Calendar.”

Adam Engst and Chuck Joiner will do a special double-MUG meeting MacNotables with groups in Pennsylvania and Florida. A host of groups will focus on iCloud and all the new capabilities it brings, and whether it is on the official agenda or not, Mac user groups everywhere are continuing to recognize the passing of Steve Jobs. Other topics up for discussion include eReaders, Apple TV, the iPad, iMovie, iOS 5 and more.

“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
