Evileggplant Studios has announced Straw Hat Legacy 1.0, a running game for the iPhone and iPod touch. The US$0.99 app is described as a blend of quest, adventure and action game genres.

The Apps Broker has released iGotuGot for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This $0.99 social networking app is designed to improve the functionality of iDevices by enabling users to make the best use of apps that can only be used between Apple devices and other smartphone platforms.

iNetwallpaper has unveiled HomeScreen Hero, a wallpaper utility for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 app lets you choose from hundreds of professionally designed backgrounds and themes.

Zuuka has introduced iTalk Smurf for theiPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 app lets y ou talk and look like the little blue creatures. It also allows the user to record Clumsy’s voice and save an animated 3D-like video to his photo library.

Phit Interactive has unveiled Photo Memory Test 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app is designed to test the players’ photographic memory and exercise cognitive abilities. Through close observation of pictures, players must pay attention to details and answer questions within certain time limits.

Saddle has debuted Project Share — Before and After 1.0, a makeover utility for iOS devices. Designed for companies, professionals and tradesmen, the $2.99 tool enables anyone to capture and document before and after photos of client projects. It allows for communication of successful project results by sharing both before and after images in a document via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc.

Free Range Eggheads has developed Puzzleography 1.0 for the iPad. The $2.99 app is a pirate themed, puzzle based geography game designed to teach every continent and every state in the US. Puzzleography sports nine maps and three levels of difficulty.

Phosphor Games Studio has created The Dark Meadow. It’s a $5.99, first-person, action/adventure game where players fight to escape a nightmare fairytale world filled with fantastical creatures bent on destroying them.

Andrew Nicolle has grown Bonsai Album 1.0 for iOS devices, a productivity app for bonsai and penjing tree enthusiasts. Bonsai Album lets you keep track of the progress and care of a bonsai or penjing collection. Bonsai is the ancient Japanese art of growing miniature trees in containers, similar to the Chinese tradition of penjing. Bonsai Album 1.0 costs $7.99; there’s also a limited free version, Bonsai Album Lite 1.0.

Castle Builders has published Garfield’s BooClips 1.0, a digital children’s book the iPad. The $3.99 app purportedly takes full advantage of Jim Davis’ “Garfield” via an original screenplay written by Davis.

Fuse Powered has unleashed Jaw’s Revenger for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In the $0.99 app, players get to be the mindless eating machine and snack on swimmers, beach-goers and more.

MGC has hatched EggCeleb 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app allows users to choose from dozens of celebrity cartoons shaped as eggs, and dress them using mix-n-match colored or outlined outfits that can be colored by the users.

The free app allows Vidyo’s enterprise customers to offer mobile workers the ability to participate in company video conferences from their iOS or Android mobile devices, expanding access to conferences that already connect laptops, desktops, telepresence and HD room systems.

SRS Labs — which specializes in surround sound, audio enhancement, and voice post-processing technologies — has released MyTunes, an audio enhancing media player app for the iPhone and iPod touch. MyTunes is designed to redefine the expectations and capabilities associated with mobile media players. In addition to being a powerful, full function music player app, it features a mix of advanced SRS audio processing technologies, as well as a selection of features that allow users to fully customize their listening experience to match their mood or activities.The base version of MyTunes is free and provides access to all of the premium features for 10 minutes a day. The app provides over 30 step-by-step video recipes while offering two additional summer packs of six cooking classes for $1.99 each or individual cooking classes for $0.99. Appetites will roll out even more new cooking classes this fall.
