The Blue Technologies has released Group Ulysses 2.1, an update of the text editor for writers. The upgrade adds support for Mac OS X 10.7 (“Lion”) and extends export options to ePub and HTML.

Additionally, Ulysses 2.1 boasts various fixes and optimizations. These include: better dual monitor support, enhanced stability and support for swipe gestures. Celebrating eight years of text editing, Ulysses has permanently dropped in price.

It’s available for US$19.99 exclusively on the Mac App Store. It requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later. Non-App Store customers, whose machines meet the minimum system requirements, can update their existing installs at no cost via Ulysses’ built-in update mechanism.
