Mac OS X 10.7 (“Lion”), has settled into third position behind Mac’s Snow Leopard and Leopard operating systems in its share among all Macs, according to Chitika Insight (http:///www.chitika.com), the research arm of online advertising network Chitika. Insights uses Chitika’s data to monitor and report on Internet trends — search engines, clickthrough rates, the mobile war, and more.
Still, compared to the Chitika Insights report exactly two months month ago, Lion has jumped two-fold in its Mac market share. Mac OS 10.7 has settled into third position behind Mac’s Snow Leopard (10.6) and Leopard (10.5) operating systems in its share among all Macs.
