mix1009 has announced Free Music Download Player Pro for iOS, their music app that allows users to download, program, and play free, legal music downloads. Music lovers can download complete albums or individual songs with one tap, and downloading can be done in the background. Free Music Download Player Pro is now at the special introductory price of US$0.99; the regular price is $2.99). A free version, limited to 20 downloads, is also available.

Stinger Games has released Stinger Foosball League 1.0 for iOS. The $1.99 game features a realistic, 3D foosball table simulation with customizable cameras that change from overhead to ground level views of the action, following the ball as it rolls, bounces, and flies around the pitch.

ChipotleLabs has unveiled CalcPad-HD 1.0 for iPad users. The $0.99 tool provides a calculator for regular and scientific calculations, as well as a “secret” safe location for storing text and images. A user’s sensitive information and photos are hidden within the app but accessible if you know how and where to look for them. CalcPad-HD also has a secure web browser and search menu within the secure storage area.

Fairwinds Software is offering MedTracker 1.0 for the iPhone. The free app records the dates and times patients have taken over-the-counter or prescription medications. MedTracker handles multiple people, different dose amounts, and dose frequency. It makes use of a single view for tracking medication, displaying the last time medication was taken, dosage, and patient name. A second view will show the stored history for a single medication.
