Fishington Studios has announced Map Draw 1.0, the company’s latest iPad application in a series of health, fitness and productivity apps. The US$1.99 app allows users to create their own routes and maps directly on the Apple tablet. Users can track and save distances, routes and plans. All maps can be drawn in freehand and then exported.

Hindsight Labs has released Convert Gold 1.0, a voice activated unit converter for iPhone and iPod touch devices. The $2.99 app offers a way to convert any unit. No more fiddling with dials or number pads. Just tap the microphone, speak your conversion, and it will recognize your speech and perform the conversion for you.

Appsplit has unveiled Trenchman 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The goal of the $0.99 game is surviving behind enemy lines when all you have at your disposal is grenades and your trusted trench. Trenchman includes Game Center support with achievements board and a leader board.

AllFocus has introduced ChatTrack 1.0 for group chat. The free app offers dynamic grouping and history in perspective, an idea tracker with nine folders and posting, and reminders with always-there notifications.

Bloomberg has served up the free Bloomberg Radio+ app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Listeners can view real-time charts, get the latest market information and news, and access guest bios — all while listening to the most preeminent minds in business and finance.

HipGeo (http://www.hipgeo.com), a Los Angeles-based developer of a location-aware platform — has created HipGeo app for the iPhone. The free app lets users “record their world,” then share their trips and stories with its “HipGeo Player” that provides a recap of places, routes and photos in animated displays.

Pedro Santos and Ana Nogal have dribbled out LetsBasket+ 1.0, their latest application on the Basketball series for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a $3.99 tool that allows recording and sharing game events. With just the touch of a finger users can collect all game data including teams, players, points, fouls, substitutions and more. Imbedded publishing functionality allows users to share their games on the web using LetsBasket online.
