First Flamingo Enterprise has announced Fast Logger 1.0, an US$4.99 trip logging tool for iOS devices. Leveraging its location awareness and self learning algorithms, it’s a tool for entering car trip registration.

Garmin International, a unit of Garmin has released its StreetPilot onDemand iPhone app. Rounding out Garmin’s range of guidance options, StreetPilot onDemand provides iPhone users convenient navigation for walking or driving when they need it, with an initial $0.99 download that includes 30 days of premium features. It is the first iPhone navigation app to include multimodal pedestrian routing, with bus and train transit schedules in many major cities. Additional premium features include spoken turn-by-turn guidance with street names, representation of 3D buildings and landmarks, traffic rerouting, photoReal Junction View and Google Local Search, and more.

Nuance Communications has introduced the Dragon for Salesforce app for iPhone and iPad that lets Salesforce users speak updates into their Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Chatter accounts. The free app harnesses the power of the Dragon Dictation app.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a 62,000-member organization dedicated to the health of children, has launched a free app for the iPad that provides instant mobile access to the entire AAP eBook collection.

Lowe’s, the world’s second largest home improvement retailer, has debuted the free Lowe’s App for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s designed to support customers with their home improvement projects, and provide tools to help simplify the shopping experience.

Joerg Piringer has created RealBeat 1.0, a music creation app for the iPhone and iPad. Offered at an introductory price of $1.99, it’s a sampler app that enables anyone to record sounds, cut and loop and create rhythms out of them.

Zepetto has designed Empire&Boat 1.0, the second in their shooting game series for iOS devices. In this $0.99 shooter, the player’s battleship has to destroy countless invading enemy ships at sea.  

Revel Systems has cooked up a free, mobile Point of Sale for line busting, that operates on either the iPad or iPhone.  Either Apple device can be connected to a mobile credit card reader and used to process payments any where with a wireless, 3G or 4G connection.
