AutoCrypt revved for Lion

Pomola Software (http://www.pomola.com) has updated AutoCrypt, an US$7 multipurpose encryption tool, with Lion compatibility.

AutoCrypt — which is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or later — lets you save in a document all the settings used to create encrypted archives. Using these documents, AutoCrypt can be used for crypto batch processing of files.

Using the blowfish algorithm, all the encrypted files will be unreadable by anyone except who knows the correct password. Documents are at the basis of the way AutoCrypt operates. These documents don’t contain encrypted data, but they’re used to encrypt the files the user likes to protect .

In case the files to encrypt or to decrypt are updated with frequencies, an AutoCrypt document listing this files provides a one-click method to encrypt them, storing the updated files in a user specified place. The user can launch AutoCrypt as example in the night using the Autorunoption turned on in the document to execute.
