Forget iPads. Students in Owensboro (Kentucky) Public Schools will be getting MacBook Airs to help them with their work next school year, reports the “TriState” newspaper (http://macte.ch/Ya2aY).

More than 2,000 students in grades 5-12 will receive the ultra-light laptops. The OPS School Board approved a specific policy of how they will be used and it bans visiting illegal websites or gambling over the internet. Students in the Daviess County School District have been taking home laptops as well, notes “TriState.”
