Recover PDF Password for Mac OS X upgraded to version 3.0

Eltima Software has updated Recover PDF Password, a Mac OS X app for recovering recover lost or forgotten passwords for PDF documents, to version 3.0. The upgrade offers a faster password recovery process thanks to program optimization for multi-core computers.

Recover PDF Password 3.0 also adds an additional recovery method: Dictionary search. The software supports all versions of Adobe Acrobat up to version 9.X and can recover Unicode passwords.

Recover PDF Password is designed to recover passwords for PDF documents in case they were lost or forgotten. It can recover both “Owner” and “User” passwords. The first protects the document from copying, editing or printing, while the second protects the document from opening.

Recover PDF Password also has a “Decrypt” option that can create an unprotected copy of a PDF file in case it’s protected only with “Owner” password. Digital signature removal is also available.

Recover PDF Password for Mac costs US$39.95 for a single user license and $49.95 for a business license. It’s available from the Eltima Software website (http://mac.eltima.com/).
