Verayo hires former Apple analyst as chief technology officer

Security and authentication company Verayo (http://www.verayo.com/) has named David M’Raihi chief technology officer and vice president of engineering, reports the “Silicon Valley Business Journal” (http://macte.ch/BRDUT). He was recently an analyst and architect of digital content at Apple.

Before his stint at Apple, M’Raihi held senior executive positions at VeriSign as principal analyst of corporate strategy and led authentication research as principal scientist of VeriSign Security Services. While at Arxan Technologies., he was vice president of technology and chief technology officer, as well as co-founder of Arxan Labs. M’Raihi also spent more than 10 years at Gemalto first as a founding member of the crypto team and then as director of technology of corporate development, according to the “Business Journal.”
