KPL Studios has released the iTC Calc Family, a line of timecode tools for post-production professionals, available to them on-the-go on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. iTC Calc 2 offers a selection of tool cards to simplify the work with timecodes: timecode-frame conversions, offset, duration and total running time calculations, frame rate converter, video disk space calculator, touch history and much more. iTC Calc 2 is US$4.99, iTC Calc A La Carte costs $1.99, iTC Calc for iPad is $6.99 and iPad Ultimate is $9.99.

Appache Mobile has announced Legacy: Mystery Mansion, a quest game in the style of Three in a Row. In the $0.99 app, players discover the mystery of an old mansion. The aim of the game is to reveal the secret of each room and return home to its former prosperity.

AngryOrange has introduced Just a Ball 1.0, a physics based puzzle adventure for iOS devices. In the $0.99 app, players use problem solving skills and accuracy to get a soccer ball from its starting position into a box with a single shot. Just a Ball sports 21 sequentially more challenging levels.

Kiboomu has unveiled First Words Sing and Learn HD, an educational applicatioin for the iPad. Featuring a full kid’s music album of 18 sing-along songs, 18 puzzles and 18 coloring pages, the $1.99 app is designed to teach children words, letters, numbers, colors and shapes, body parts, food, days of the week, animal sounds and more.

TAS Games, in association with Infused Dreams, has debuted Amazing Machine 1.0 for iOS. In the $0.99 app, you use your tools to guide the Plasmatron Sphere into the mad scientists’ machines to destroy them. Inspired by the old Sierra classic, The Incredible Machine, Amazing Machine features 55 levels, level creation and more.

Techselect Consulting has cooked up Favaurants 1.0, their new travel app for iOS. Designed for frequent and business travelers alike, the $0.99 app helps you to remember your favorite restaurants in each city, as well as your favorite restaurants in your own city. Favaurants allows you to keep track of your own personal ratings and cost ratings, features of each restaurant, and what meals they serve. You can also keep track of your favorite items or dishes at each restaurant.
