Quirky releases Stance iPad 2 stand

Stance.jpg

Stance — a socially developed iPad 2 stand — is now available at the Quirky online store (http://www.quirky.com) for US$28. It fits in cup holders and adjusts to different heights and angles.

Stance comes equipped with a snap-fit iPad case, a telescoping arm and a cup shaped base. Its idesign allows you to move and lock your Apple tablet in an array of angles, including portrait and display mode. It fits securely in a wide range of cup holders and allows room at the bottom of the holder to store your power cord and headphones. When you’re ready to move again, the telescoping arm collapses and stores within the cup shaped base.

Stance is the 144th product designed and developed by the Quirky community since Quirky’s launch on June 2, 2009. Two weeks ago, Quirky was approached by a retail partner to create a cupholder iPad stand that would rise above the competition. In just one week, over 297 people came together to develop this concept from sketch to store.
