Internet Design Zone has announced The Alphabet Train 1.1, an update of the free, educational app for iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch users. It’s designed for kids ages 2-6 to take them “o a joyful ride in the world of letters and words.”

The Textastic 2.2 with syntax highlighting is designed to make it easier for developers and Webmasters to review and edit source code on their iPads. The $9.99 app is compatible with more than 80 programming and markup languages and has fully integrated connectivity. Version 2.2 introduces support for MobileMe iDisk, a WebDAV client and FTPES support, a new cursor navigation wheel and a password lock feature.

IdeaSolutions has updated MindColors Test for iOS devices to version 1.1. Developed in cooperation with psychologists and psychiatrists, the 40.99 app is a projective personality test based on purely chromatic stimuli.

Jumsoft has overhauled Money, its finance and budgeting app for the iPhone. Version 2.0 the $1.99 app features a redesigned interface, improved usability, management of accounts, scheduled transactions, and budgets, as well as the ability to synchronize with the desktop version of Money 4.

TimeStream Software has updated its Walt Disney World Hidden Mickeys travel app for the iPhone and iPod touch to version 1.5. The $1.99 app now has over 150 “Hidden Mickeys” arranged as a tour through all four theme parks; the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
