Iomega expands network storage offerings

Iomega (http://www.iomega.com) has launched the Iomega StorCenter PX Series of network storage products, a series of desktop and rackmount NAS devices created specifically for high performance use at small- to medium-sized businesses and distributed enterprises.

Powered by EMC storage technology, the StorCenter PX Series features four-bay and six-bay desktop models and a four-bay rackmount model, each available in scalable configurations. SMBs, remote offices and distributed enterprise users will benefit from the optional use of SSD drives to drive even higher performance, as well as such advanced data protection features as multiple RAID levels with hot swap drives, UPS support, user quotas, device-to-device replication and certification for most virtualization environments, according to Iomega President Jonathan Huberman.

Iomega’s new StorCenter PX Series of network storage devices range from diskless with no included storage up to 18TB of storage capacity. The PX Series also includes Iomega Personal Cloud technology, empowering users to protect and share data from virtually anywhere. Contact Iomega for pricing options.
