Apple looking for iOS Maps Application developer

A job posting (http://macte.ch/byBJ3) shows that Apple is looking to hire an iOS Maps application developer. According to Apple, the Maps team is looking for a” proactive and hardworking software engineer.”

“Along with excellent skills in object-oriented software design and programming, the successful candidate will have real-world experience developing sophisticated user interfaces,” the job description notes. “Excellent communication skills are also a must, as you will be collaborating closely with Apple’s peerless human interface team to add new and innovative features.”

Candidates must have: a BS in computer science (or the equivalent); strong object-oriented programming and design skills; experience at the application and user interface level; a “passion for product quality and attention to details”; and excellent communication and collaborative skills. It will also help if you have: knowledge of Objective-C, C or C++; experience with the iOS software development kit and Cocoa programming; a deep understanding of graphics technology; and “familiarity with and a passion for” location-based technologies.
