Malicious robots have nowhere to hide, as Wandake launches Robokill — Rescue Titan Prime (http://www.wandake.com/robokill/) on the Mac App Store. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and costs US$4.99.

Here’s how the game is described: “The new version keeps the incredibly popular Survival mode featured in the iOS version of the game, and builds in new mouse and keyboard controls to deliver a level of precision never before seen. This may well be the definitive edition of the game hardcore fans have been waiting for.

“We’re very pleased to be able to offer Robokill to Mac users,” said Bruce Brodie, Director of Games at Wandake. “This game is just too much fun to be confined to mobile devices, so now we’re unleashing it on the Mac as well. We apologize to bosses and significant others as their employees and loved ones are completely sucked into the experience.”

“Robokill is an action-packed shooter which tasks players with carefully navigating room after room filled with baddies, traps and treasure. Upgradeable weapons and armor, as well as an integrated leveling system, allows players to absorb more punishment and dish out more damage in return as they play through the game. Furthermore, the brand new Survival mode pits gamers against increasingly aggressive and powerful enemy hordes, challenging them to hold out as long as possible against overwhelming odds.”
