Photo Privacy introduced for the Mac

CocoaWithChurros has introduced Photo Privacy 1.0 (http://macte.ch/X0lPS), a metadata removal tool on the Mac App Store. It requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and costs US$3.99.

Photo Privacy removes the hidden metadata inside photos, which you can y use to upload to your favorite social network or image hosting service. It creates safe copies of your pictures without that private information, which can be safely posted on the Internet or emailed, being confident that your personal information isn’t revealed, according to the folks at CocoaWithChurros.

With Photo Privacy, a new image is created without any private information, keeping your original pictures unmodified. It supports RAW, JPEG, PNG, GIF and TIFF image files (RAW support is readonly. RAW files are converted to JPEG files)
