Apple has posted a job opening (http://macte.ch/KFTgo) for a “senior software engineer — core services” to “help build the next-generation Apple Online Store.”
“Do you enjoy building highly scalable, distributed web applications?” Apple asks in the job posting. “Do you get excited about performance tuning java applications at the limits of memory and CPU? Do you enjoy working with other high output engineers? If so, then join our team and make a difference.”
Apple is looking for “senior-level engineers with demonstrated experience delivering advanced solutions in a multi-tier, distributed environment.” A BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or EE, or relevant industry experience is required. An MS in Computer Science or related technical field is desired.
