iMaginator 5 his the Mac App Store

Stone Design says iMaginator 5.0 (http://stone.com/iMaginator), the latest version of their image processing app for Mac OS X (10.6.5 or later) is now at the Mac App Store in the Photography section. It’s being offered at an introductory price of US$9.99; it’s normally $49.

iMaginator 5 offers access to over 125 effects, transitions, and filters. Users can layer images, paint and text, and apply, modify, and re-order multiple effects. You can crop, scale, rotate, flip, skew, change exposure and brighten images in real time, and then save processed images as TIFF or JPEG files, and even create QuickTime movies showing the effects changing over time.

You can mask images and erase or replace any set of colors. With iMaginator 5, you can replicate and reuse the base image any number of times.

Each overlayed image or text can have its own chain of sub-effects to create independent effects in different parts of the canvas. The “Add Sub Effects” feature allows any number of filter chains from the list or menu — or you drag on an effect from the library. iMaginator 5.0 is offers at the introductory price of only $9.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Photography category.
