TinyBooks 7.0.6 for Mac OS X adds Receipt button

Ken Winograd and Space-Time Associates (http://www.winograd.com) has updated TinyBooks Pro, its Mac accounting and bookkeeping program, to version 7.0.6. The upgrade adds a Receipt button to the Professional Invoice Printer window.

It also made the Generate button the default button on the Reports window, fixed the New and New With Import dialogs so the default fiscal year is shown on dialog opening, added a cloverleaf (Apple/Command key) icon to the Calculate Tax button on the Enter/Modify Item dialog to properly show the keyboard equivalent, modified the Enter/Modify Item dialogs to more prominently highlight the current month, and improved the international handling of Import and Export functions.

TinyBooks Pro is a single-entry bookkeeping and accounting system designed for sole proprietors, home and other small businesses, and family finances. To use you enter your expenses and income, and TinyBooks Pro does the rest. Current and year-to-date on-the-fly totals are continually displayed. Fully automatic bar-charting of all expense and income accounts make the determination of monthly trends intuitively obvious, according to the folks at Space-Time Associates.

TinyBooks Pro 7.0.5 is exclusively for Intel-based Macs and is available now. TinyBooks (the non-Pro TinyBooks) is still available for those running on older PowerPC Macs or those running Mac OS 8.x. or 9.x TinyBooks Pro 7.0.6 costs US$69 for an individual license, but it’s a free update for registered users of version 7.x.
