AuraSound (http://www.aurasound.com) has unveiled the innovative Sound Station, a media player that sports an “audiophile-class” acoustic design with a 7-inch color screen and several connectivity features.

Sound Station supports Internet radio and iPod/iPhone docking and serves as a digital picture frame, alarm clock, FM radio, and video player. It doesn’t require a computer to set up or operate. The product will be available next month initially via selected retailers in the U.S. and Europe, with global expansion to follow. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
